It’s matchday three of the new English Premier League season, with a bumper schedule spread across Saturday and Sunday. You can bet on every match now using the Gamblr mobile app and website.

The action begins in London at 12:30 BST when Chelsea host neighbours Fulham. Victory would move the Blues onto seven points, placing them in pole position ahead of the 15:00 kick-offs. A win would put the Cottagers above their hosts and into the top four.

Avoiding the unpredictability of an early start, we create a home win treble in Greater Manchester, the UK capital, and West Yorkshire. You’ll find our selections below and can follow now, add our three to your predictions or go against us with an away win treble.

The early signs from the top tier of English football suggest another rollercoaster campaign filled with upsets, shock results, and major talking points. Bet on the outright winner at Gamblr, browse dozens of pre-match and live markets or use our generous promotions.

Man Utd to beat Burnley

What can we expect from Manchester United this season following a bitterly disappointing 15th-place finish, crossing the line just three spots above the relegation zone? That’s anyone’s guess at this stage, but the pressure is on manager Ruben Amorim and his high-earning squad. Are they title contenders? It’s possible, but the Red Devils must show us more following a less-than-convincing start.

Man Utd are yet to put a win on the board, but Saturday afternoon looks the ideal opportunity to get off the mark. The hosts opened with a narrow 1-0 defeat at this venue when hosting Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal. They then slipped to a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage last Sunday, despite taking the lead on the hour through an own goal. Bruno Fernandes missed a penalty before Muniz knocked into his own net, and Smith Rowe equalised.

Burnley start round three in 11th with one win and a defeat. They brought the curtain up with a 3-0 loss to Spurs in London as Thomas Frank’s side flexed their muscles. The Clarets bounced back to beat Sunderland 2-0 at Turf Moor last time, but I expect them to freeze at the Theatre of Dreams. The head-to-head stats show Burnley haven’t won here since 2020, that’s a run of four games. During that dry spell, they’ve lost 3-1 twice and 2-0 before scrambling to a 1-1 draw when last in town.

Pressure is building on United to register their first win this season, and I’m confident they’ll get it here to send their fans home happy.

Tottenham to beat Bournemouth

Moving to London, and we’re adding Tottenham to continue their perfect start. Having replaced former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou following Europa League glory, Thomas Franks has led Tottenham to joint top. The home team are one of only three EPL clubs with a 100% record and six points on the board, joining Liverpool and current leaders Arsenal.

Spurs got the wheels in motion with a thoroughly impressive 3-0 win over Burnley. Fans were pleasantly surprised by the win, the manner of victory, and the character of their new-look side. A double from Richarlison and a Brennan Johnson strike buried Scott Parker’s crew, but there was better to come. Tottenham upset the odds by beating Man City at the Etihad Stadium last weekend.

Bournemouth travel from the South Coast to London with three goals scored and four conceded so far. They defeated Sunderland 2-0 in another surprise, and fans will remember leaving this venue with a 2-2 draw earlier this year. They face a very different Tottenham side here, one that’s well-organised in defence and ruthless in attack. Back the home win.

Leeds beat Newcastle

What a game we have in store at Elland Road in Saturday’s top-of-the-bill tussle. Leeds returned to the top table after winning the Championship and got off to a flying start. They marked their comeback with a deserved 1-0 home win over a tough Everton side, but were blown away by Arsenal at the Emirates, losing 5-0.

Newcastle were involved in a bloody battle with Liverpool on Monday night. The Magpies were 2-0 down and playing with 10 men after only a few seconds of the second half. But they fought back to level the score and looked like the most likely winner. With seconds remaining, the champions delivered a sucker-punch, with 16-year-old substitute Ngumoha netting the decider with 100 minutes on the clock.

As well as having Gordon sent off in first-half stoppage time and working hard to level the scores in the second 45, Newcastle finished with nothing to show for their efforts. They’re missing Gordon for this match, and manager Eddie Howe is also sweating over the fitness of several first-team regulars. Those left behind are running on empty following Monday’s marathon, and the visitors are still in desperate need of a reliable striker. Back Leeds to take full advantage and make it two wins from two home games.

Premier League 2025/26 outright

As well as betting on the best teams from matchday three, you can also predict the champion in Gamblr’s Premier League outright market. Here are the latest odds.

Arsenal @ 2.75

Liverpool @ 2.75

Man City @ 5.6

Chelsea @ 9.0

Tottenham @ 26.0

As you can see, traders have reacted to Arsenal’s winning start, making them joint-favourites with Liverpool to win the league. Then we have Man City, but there’s a dark cloud hanging over Pep Guardiola’s men at present as they await the result of a financial fair play probe.

I already picked Chelsea as my Premier League winner, and they continue to trade at generous odds, despite taking four points from six, scoring five goals and conceding just one. There’s still plenty more to come from the Blues.

Then we have Tottenham, and they’re sure to be popular with value hunters. The Londoners haven’t put a foot wrong so far, have already beaten City on their travels, and their odds will continue to drop with every win. My advice to Tottenham fans is to back your team sooner rather than later.
